Keswick Scruffs is a fun dog show held in Fitz Park, it’s open to every dog with classes such as waggiest tail, smiliest dog and best biscuit catcher. There is also a market along side all the classes selling food, drink, crafts and of course your dogs favourite treats.

Skelton Show
Skelton Show has been running since the late 1800’s and grown from a small local show held in the village to one of the major agricultural shows in Cumbria.
The show has a large horticultural and industrial marquee and classes of cattle, sheep, horses, dogs, vintage vehicles, fur and feathered animals and Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling. With well over 150 trade stands, a gift and craft tent, food hall, a wide variety of entertainment, music, food and bar it has a reputation for being a great day out in the country for all the family.

Cockermouth Show
A traditional agricultural show with lots going on all day, including horses, cattle, sheep, goats, foxhounds, terriers, sheep dogs, terrier racing, industrial section, vintage craft tent, beer tent, sheep shearing demonstrations, children's pets, show jumping, trade stands and lots more
Cartmel Show
The show will offer a brilliant range of family friendly activities, including local food, drink, livestock and horse classes, craft and village industries. There’s plenty of vintage tractors and vehicles, as well as children’s entertainment, a mini zoo, have a go areas, a food theatre, lots of shopping and so much more.
Taste of the Sea - Maryport
In the heart of the town centre and down on the harbourside, there will be loads going on for foodies, families, locals and visitors.
There’s a producers market on Senhouse Street, freshly landed fish on the harbourside (subject to tides and weather), harbour tours, art taster sessions, outdoor picnic area with hot food vans, live music, cookery demonstrations, festival charity bar operated by Maryport Round Table, fairground rides and lots more.
Gosforth Show
A traditional agricultural show with classes for sheep, cattle, horses, dogs, children’s pets, horticulture, handicrafts and produce, terrier racing, vintage and steam machinery, Cumberland and Westmorland wrestling, children’s sports, local history tent, poultry, goats along with a good number of trade stands.
Hawkshead Show
With plenty of attractions for people to see all day - there’s horse classes ranging from the the miniatures to the heavy horses, driving and jumping classes, judging of sheep, cattle and dogs. The horticultural tent is a must see with home produce, flowers, vegetables, arts and crafts along with a number of trade stalls.
Keswick Show
A full days entertainment for all the family including showing classes of ponies, horses, sheep and dogs. There will also be a display by West Cumbria Vintage Club, Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, a fell race, sheep clipping and terrier racing. The Cumbria Championship Sheepdog Competition will run throughout the day where spectators can watch the real life one man & his dog.
The show is spread over two fields with an art & craft, food and industrial marquees. In the main field there are over 60 trade stands selling a variety of goods. There are also a variety of children’s amusements.

Penrith Farmers Market is held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, it offers a tempting array of local specialities, seasonal produce and distinctive crafts all within the heart of the town. There are lots of independent shops along with the famous big names, plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or drink, come along and see what Penrith has to offer.

Christmas Festival and Light Switch On
The event will be taking place throughout Workington Town Centre with the all important light switch on at 5pm.

Westmorland County Show
Held over two days, the Westmorland County Show has been going for over 200 years, showcasing rural life while providing businesses a platform from which to trade. Livestock classes are split across both days so check on the website if there is something specific that you want to see. There is also a magnificent food hall, food theatre, craft marquees and over 400 trade stands, you are guaranteed a fabulous day at the show.
